Specifications Technical Specs

For the more demanding professional, our 40200HC-CT spiral type wood thickness planer with carbide tips will fit the bill. With its 4 heavy duty guide posts and 2 heavy duty screw posts design, manual cutterhead snipe lock, enclosed internal gears for height adjustment, 8 position Repeat Cut Depth Stop and large tables, it has all the features a pro would need. And at about 90lbs, it can still be maneuvered to and around a job site. The 40200HC-CT also features our newly redesigned spiral style cutterhead with 26 carbide 2-sided tips and a redesigned dust chute. Both of these new features create better chip removal and lessen the chance for tear out due to poor chip evacuation even on hardwoods and figured stock. The individual cutter tips can easily and quickly be rotated, or changed, with very little downtime keeping your project moving forward and on time saving you money. The standard 2 ½" and 4 " dual sized dust port is included along with the tools necessary to change or rotate cutter tips.

5 of 5 Planer review April 2, 2020
Reviewer: Chris from Costa Rica
I have had this planer for five weeks and it has proven to be a beast. It totally out its the Makita planer that we were previously using. Most of the woods that we plane are Costa Rican hardwoods and they can be brutal on equipment. Not a problem with this planer. We also cut 5 mm strips of wood that we plane down to 3.3 mm for use in our landing nets and they come out smooth and uniform in size. I highly recommend this machine.

5 of 5 Amazed. January 29, 2020
Reviewer: Pete from Cleveland oh
No regrets with this product. I’ve had it over a month now and I’m more than happy with it! Just got my wahuda jointer and like it too. Great company, great customer service! I was nervous buying a brand I never heard of but the reviews made me pull the trigger. The wood comes out flawless. I’ve had soft maple and walnut come out as smooth as silk and even had a shine to it! So glad I bought this product. The price is the best around! Order one!!!!

5 of 5 Fantastic planer October 20, 2019
Reviewer: Paul Jenkins from Pompey, NY
I've been using this planer for a few months now.  Going from an older two knife planer to this is like night and day.  Everything from pine to cherry to oak - great results.  Very smooth results - right from the planer to 220 finish sand.  Quiet, and set up right for dust collection system or shop-vac dust collection.

5 of 5 Great Planer January 10, 2019
Reviewer: Brian from Carmel, IN United States
Have been using this planer for a few months in my home shop and I highly recommend it.  Smooth results even on figured hardwood.  Much more heavy duty than other lunchbox style units I've used in the past.   Would recommend building a cart for it.  Has been a great buy.

5 of 5 Good buy October 5, 2018
Reviewer: Art Owen from Hawi, Hawaii
Have had this planer for about a year now. Have a small cabinet shop. Was happy to hear that they would ship to the Big Island if Hawaii. Had over 2000 bf of teak on first job, and have run at least another 2500 bf of maple and mahogany since then. This has been a good buy no problems at all.
